REMENANTS OF STEEL CITY: A photography project that was created for a Grant that I was a part of at YSU. The Nexus Grant is a grant that is given to students that is a part of the College of Creative Arts at Youngstown state. Which fosters collaborations between art departments. I paired up in a group with photographers, a screen printer, and a writer to come up with a project that showcased the city of Youngstown. We created an immersive environment to get participants to generate critical thinking of the world around which they live. We showed the deterioration of Youngstown with three different mediums from three different perspectives. Which is called the Roshomon Effect.
